Scope & Applicability

• These guidelines govern the implementation of public educational events like seminars, lectures, and workshops (“Courses”).
• SAPAR GmbH's Terms and Conditions take precedence over any contradictory or supplementary terms provided by the Participant, unless expressly agreed upon by SAPAR GmbH.
• Separate arrangements with the Participant, documented in written contracts or confirmations, supersede these Terms and Conditions.

Agreement & Withdrawal

• The contract's subject is the provision of agreed services or courses, not any guaranteed results.
• Registration or order placement by the Participant becomes binding upon written confirmation from the SAPAR GmbH.
• SAPAR GmbH may use subcontractors to fulfill contractual obligations.
• Cancellation rules: Full refund for cancellations received 14 days before Course; 50% refund for cancellations up to 5 days before Course; No refund for later cancellations, non-attendance, or early departure. A replacement participant may be nominated. Statutory Right of Withdrawal applies.

Payment Policy

• Fees are calculated based on the SAPAR GmbH's prevailing rates at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed. Fees are payable upon receipt of the invoice.
• Course fees cover attendance only. Additional costs, such as exam fees and material costs, are billed separately.
• Course participation cannot be split among multiple participants. Partial course booking at a reduced rate is not allowed unless explicitly mentioned in the program.

Course Management

• Course execution aligns with the advertised program or individual agreements with the Participant, subject to necessary adjustments that don't significantly change the Course goals.
• There is no guarantee of a specific lecturer or location. Unattended Course days are not refundable.
• SAPAR GmbH may cancel a Course due to valid reasons (e.g., sudden illness of a lecturer), in which case the Participant is entitled to a refund. No additional claims are permitted.
• "Guaranteed courses" are assured to take place. Full bookings, illness of a speaker, or unforeseen events may lead to course cancellation, in which case SAPAR GmbH will try to offer an alternate date.

Intellectual Property

• All course materials, including presentations, handouts, and any online content, remain the intellectual property of SAPAR GmbH. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of these materials is strictly prohibited.

Privacy and Data Protection

•  SAPAR GmbH is committed to protecting and respecting the Participant's privacy. Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Please refer to the SAPAR GmbH's Privacy Policy for detailed information on how SAPAR GmbH collects, uses, and safeguards Participant's data.

Limitation of Liability

• SAPAR GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits, arising from or related to the Participant's enrolment or participation in a Course, even if SAPAR GmbH has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Miscellaneous

• These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Participant and SAPAR GmbH and supersede any prior understanding or representation of any kind preceding the date of these Terms.
• SAPAR GmbH reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, with changes effective immediately upon posting on the SAPAR GmbH's website.
